Grass seed  (United States)

We are in need of some grass seed to cover a couple of acres after some earthwork. I want a dryland pasture mix that includes some nitrogen fixers, but North 40 is out for the season. Is there anywhere else in town that would have it? Has anybody had good luck ordering this sort of thing online? I'm probably going to need about 50-75 lbs. of seed.

Re: Grass seed  (United States)
Eric, if you would rather buy local, there is a long-time seed company in Davenport ( http://rainierseeds.com/ ), and I believe they have a branch in Reardan (a tad closer) west of Spokane. Wilbur Ellis in Spokane Valley might have some, also. I get my bulk seeds online either from Peaceful Valley (http://groworganic.com ) or Jonny's seed (http://www.johnnyseeds.com/).

I just saw this post. We bought a white clover/grass seed mix from Plants of the Wild. www.plantsofthewild.com
They have a nice online catalog.
